Jock was available at short notice for a consult on a co-op I was considering for purchase. His expert knowledge of drain-vent-waste and plumbing systems plus construction costs led to a more precise estimate for reconfiguring a floor plan as a component of the counteroffer. Jock's experience in liaising with co-op Boards, NYC's DOB, and building management companies to facilitate and gain the various approvals and permits for the necessary upgrades is also invaluable. Although the project did not move forward when the offer wasn't accepted, Jock will remain on my speed dial for future opportunities.

Jock is a professional who is not only knowledgable, but also very well suited for what he does. While there were many stressors with our renovation related to the many needs of the co-op, the management company, the city and the board, Jock was consistently at ease with the changing situation. He worked with us for almost a full year from start to finish in order to ensure our project would be designed and delivered with all the necessary sign offs needed.

Jock is a very fast and responsive person; a quality that I truly admire. He was one of the first to respond to my RFPs and the quickness of his proposal was impressive. However, his price was 2x as much as two other RFPs, which made me ultimately not use his services. I had told him where he was relative to price and he maintained his poise and said that I should take 1 of the other 2 proposals.

He was very nice. He was very quick on the first appointment. I didn’t get his estimate for a number of weeks; it was slow. However, he did check in with me as to if I had received the estimate. He promptly sent me the estimate when I told him that I hadn’t received the same. I didn’t use his service, though. It seemed to me that he had more experience with business architecture, rather than residential. So, I used another company for the work as they matched the style of architecture that I wanted.

Jock was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. Unfortunately, not to his fault, we deemed that my apartment would not be able file for the work. Jock did a great job of laying out my options and steps involved in the evaluation of the project. I wish the project would have been doable as I'm sure Jock would have done a fantastic job.
